Welcome to English 567, Transatlantic Naturalisms

Dear English 567 students,

Welcome to English 567, Transatlantic Naturalisms!  We’ll meet in a few hours in Avery 104, although we will probably be moving to Avery 110 after today.

Here’s the link to the syllabus; I’ll have paper copies for you in class.  http://public.wsu.edu/~campbelld/engl567/sched567f15.htm

Since you’ll be reading a lot of prose during the course of the semester, our only reading–which you’ll have time to read in class today–is a slim selection of Stephen Crane’s poetry.  I’ll bring copies to class since we’ll be reading them together, but if you have time and would like to read them ahead of time, here’s the link: http://public.wsu.edu/~campbelld/crane/cranepoems.htm

I’m looking forward to meeting all of you this afternoon.

Best,

Donna Campbell
